For those who doesn't know what nvidia threaded optimization does, as far as i understand it tries to spread workload of main cpu thread to other threads, thus lowering cpu bottleneck. Nvidia should have been more clear on what their threaded 'optimization' really is. This seperates the vsync thread from the main render thread and improves triplebuffered rendering only.
